Cookie policy

The cookies PixVid sets, what each one is for, and how to control them.

Last updated 2026-08-11

Draft. PixVid is in private preview and this document has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer. It describes how the product actually behaves today, but it is not a final agreement. Paid plans are not enabled, so no billing terms are in force yet.

1. What we set

next-auth.session-tokenStrictly necessaryKeeps you signed in. Without it you cannot use the product at all.Session, renewed while you stay active
next-auth.csrf-tokenStrictly necessaryProtects sign-in and account forms against cross-site request forgery.Session
_ga, _ga_*AnalyticsGoogle Analytics: counts visitors and which pages they reach.Up to 2 years
ph_*AnalyticsPostHog: records which features are used, so we can decide what to build next.Up to 1 year

We do not set advertising cookies and we do not run third-party ad trackers on this site.

2. Your choices

Strictly necessary cookies cannot be switched off, because signing in requires them. You can block or delete analytics cookies in your browser settings, and browser-level “do not track” or tracker-blocking extensions will stop the analytics scripts from loading.

A cookie consent banner with per-category opt-in is not in place yet. Until it ships, analytics load for everyone, and blocking them is done in the browser rather than in the product. We are stating that plainly rather than implying a choice we do not yet offer.

3. More detail

What the analytics data is used for, and who else processes your data, is described in our privacy policy.
