Content licence

Subject to the rest of this page, you may publish, monetise, edit and redistribute what you generate on PixVid. That includes uploading to YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and Facebook, running it as paid advertising, and using it for a client.

We do not add a watermark to your exports and we do not take a share of what you earn.

Generative models are probabilistic, not unique. Another user giving a similar prompt can receive a similar result, and we cannot grant you exclusivity over an output or over a visual style. If your use depends on exclusivity, generative output is the wrong tool.

If you upload a reference image, an audio file or a video, you must already have the right to use it that way. Uploading someone else's footage, a copyrighted song, or a photograph of a person who has not agreed to it is your responsibility, not ours.

The same applies to prompts that name a real person, a brand, or a copyrighted character. A model producing something on request does not make that output cleared for use.

Every clip is produced by a third-party model, and each provider attaches its own terms to commercial use. Where a provider imposes a restriction that is stricter than this page, the stricter one governs that specific output. Providers currently in use are listed in our privacy policy.

Synthetic voices provided through PixVid may be used in your videos. They may not be used to impersonate a specific real person, to imply an endorsement that does not exist, or in any way that would mislead a listener about who is speaking.

We do not use your projects for promotion by default. If we ever want to feature something you made, we will ask you first and you can decline. Making a project public inside the product, if and when that feature exists, is a separate choice you make explicitly.

The licence in section 1 survives for outputs you generated and downloaded before your account was closed. It does not survive for content generated in breach of our terms.
