Acceptable use policy
What you may and may not make with PixVid, and how we enforce it.
Last updated 2026-08-19
1. What this covers
This policy applies to everything that passes through PixVid: the prompts you type, the images, video and audio you upload, the material you import by link, and everything the models generate for you. It applies whether the result stays in your account or you publish it somewhere else.
It sits alongside our terms of use. Where this policy is more specific, this policy applies.
2. No sexual content
PixVid is not an adult platform. Sexually explicit, pornographic and sexually suggestive content is prohibited outright — generated, uploaded, or merely described in a prompt. There is no unlocked tier, no opt-in, and no setting that relaxes this.
Any sexual content involving a minor, or that sexualises a real minor, is prohibited absolutely and will be reported to the appropriate authorities. This applies to stylised, animated and AI-generated depictions.
3. No face swaps or deepfakes
You may not use PixVid to swap faces, to create deepfakes, or to otherwise manipulate a real person's face or likeness. That includes placing someone's face into footage they were never in, and generating a synthetic voice that imitates a real, identifiable person.
The avatars and voices we provide are for characters you are entitled to portray. If a real person appears in what you make, you need their permission.
4. You need the rights to what you bring in
Anything you upload or import must be yours, or something you have permission to use. That includes footage you bring in by link, product photos, logos, music, and the voice of anyone you record.
Cloning or re-cutting someone else's advertisement, film, or video without the rights to do so is not permitted, and we will act on rights-holder complaints.
5. Also prohibited
- harassment, bullying, or content that threatens or demeans a person or group;
- incitement to violence, and content promoting self-harm or suicide;
- disinformation presented as factual reporting, including fabricated news footage;
- content promoting illegal goods and services, weapons, or drugs;
- scams, phishing, fake endorsements, and fabricated testimonials;
- malware, or attempts to probe, overload or reverse-engineer the service.
6. How this is enforced
Every prompt submitted for image or video generation is screened automatically before it is sent to a model. A prompt that fails screening is refused and nothing is generated. If the screening service is unreachable, generation is refused rather than allowed through.
Automated screening is not the whole story. We review reports, and we may review content in an account where we have reason to believe this policy is being broken.
7. What happens if you breach it
Depending on severity we may refuse a generation, remove content, restrict features, suspend the account, or terminate it. Serious breaches — anything involving minors in particular — result in immediate termination and, where the law requires it, a report to the authorities.
Credits are not refunded when an account is terminated for breaching this policy.
8. Reporting something
If you have seen content made with PixVid that breaks this policy, or you are a rights holder and your work has been used without permission, write to [email protected]. Include links or files and enough detail for us to find it. We aim to respond within three business days.
